Stimulating, Attractive and Warm home environment

An Operated Community-Based Home is a home setting rooted within the community. There will be one more than three individuals with a developmental and/or an intellectual disability and other behavioral health matters. The goal of DASH Operated Community Based Homes is to promote the highest quality of life for each individual by providing a stimulating, attractive and warm home environment in addition to empowering each individual to live as full members of their communities. Personal choice in options that influence one’s life is encouraged on a daily basis as well as advocacy and social supports from families and friends in the community. Professional Behavior Analysis services are provided in addition to programming, habilitation, and behavioral supports designed to increase the ability to live more independently. Through education and exposure to new and unique experiences individuals will achieve their personal goals.
